Terms of Service | U-Snap it

1. Acceptance

By using U-Snap it ("the service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. What the service does

U-Snap it lets homeowners submit a description and video of a home-improvement project to a contractor. Contractors use our dashboard to review submissions and respond. U-Snap it is a connection platform — we do not ourselves provide contracting, construction, or design services.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and able to form a binding contract. If you're submitting on behalf of a household or business, you represent that you're authorized to do so.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the video, audio, photos, and written details you submit ("Your Content").
You grant U-Snap it a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and deliver Your Content to the contractor you selected, and to use it internally to operate and improve the service.
You represent that Your Content does not infringe anyone's rights and does not contain anyone else's personal information without their permission.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use the service to:

Submit false information or impersonate someone else.
Upload illegal, infringing, or harmful content.
Interfere with, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service.
Violate any applicable law, including TCPA rules about consent to be contacted.

6. Communications consent

When you submit a project, you consent to being contacted by phone call, SMS, and email about your project. You can opt out of SMS by replying STOP, and out of email via the unsubscribe link. Opting out of your selected contractor's communications will stop your project workflow.

7. Contractor responsibility

Contractors on the platform are independent businesses. U-Snap it does not perform background checks beyond standard onboarding, does not endorse any particular contractor, and is not a party to any contract you enter with a contractor. You're responsible for your own due diligence before hiring.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, U-Snap it is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $100.

10. Termination

You can stop using the service at any time. We can suspend or end your access if you violate these terms or create risk for us or other users.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes we'll give reasonable notice. Continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which U-Snap it is headquartered, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled in the state and federal courts located there, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.
